Rodeo Results LLC ("Rodeo Results," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you use our websites, browser-based web applications, mobile applications, event pages, messaging tools, payment-related features, check-printing and check-mailing features, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy applies to Rodeo Results websites, the Rodeo Results web app, the Rodeo Results mobile app, and related online services that link to or reference this Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

We collect information you submit to us directly, such as:

  • horse, rider, contestant, and participant information
  • event entries, class selections, divisions, and related competition information

  • 1.2 Information organizers submit about contestants and participants

    Organizers and their staff may manually enter or upload contestant and participant information into the Services, including for individuals who have not created their own Rodeo Results account. This may include names, horse information, class selections, division information, membership information, contact information, mailing information, payout-related information, and other event-related data.

    1.3 Payment and transaction information

    If you make a purchase, pay event fees, subscribe to paid features, or use payment-related functionality, we or our service providers may collect transaction information such as billing details, payment status, purchase history, and limited payment-method information. Full payment card details are typically processed by third-party payment processors and are not stored by Rodeo Results except as necessary to support the transaction.

    1.4 Check printing and check mailing information

    If an organizer uses check-printing or check-mailing features, we may process payee name, mailing address, amount, organizer-provided check information, and related fulfillment details needed to generate or mail checks on the organizer's behalf.

    1.5 Information collected automatically

    When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • device identifiers

  • operating system
  • app version
  • device type
  • crash data
  • usage activity
  • referring pages or apps
  • dates and times of access

    4.1 With organizers, event staff, and related users

    If you participate in an event or interact with an organizer through the Services, your information may be visible to organizers, authorized event staff, and other users as needed to operate the event and the Services.

    4.2 Public or shared event information

    Depending on the feature, event configuration, and the nature of the platform, certain information may be displayed to other users or the public, including:

  • participant names
  • horse names
  • event entries
  • schedules
  • results
  • standings
  • placements
  • times
  • payout-related information
  • historical records
  • archives
  • statistics
  • community posts or comments you choose to publish
  • 4.3 Messaging and community features

    If you use messaging, posting, commenting, or similar features, your communications and content may be visible to intended recipients, organizers, moderators, or other users depending on how the feature works.

    4.4 Service providers

    We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting providers, analytics providers, customer support tools, email and notification vendors, payment processors, app infrastructure providers, authentication providers, and mailing or fulfillment vendors.

    5. Email, Push Notifications, and Marketing

    We may send transactional or service-related messages, including account notices, receipts, event updates, support responses, security alerts, results notifications, and administrative communications.

    If you opt in or if permitted by law, we may also send marketing or promotional communications. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email. Opting out of marketing messages will not stop service-related communications.

    If you enable push notifications on your mobile device, we may send notifications through the app. You can manage push-notification preferences in your device or app settings.

    You may opt out of promotional emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in those emails. Please note that we may still send transactional or service-related messages.

    If you have an account, you may request deletion of your account and certain associated personal information through available in-app or web-based tools, if provided, or by contacting us. We may retain information where permitted or required by law, for security purposes, for dispute resolution, for records that are part of event history, or for other legitimate business purposes.

    Depending on where you live and whether applicable privacy laws apply to Rodeo Results, you may have rights such as the right to request access to personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, delete personal information, obtain a copy of certain personal information, or opt out of certain processing activities.

    California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, and Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, if those laws apply to Rodeo Results and the processing at issue.

    8. Children's Privacy

    The Services are not intended for direct self-service use by children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement where required. However, organizers may submit information about minor participants as part of event administration.

    If we have actual knowledge that we collected personal information online from a child under 13 in a manner that requires parental consent under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to obtain any required consent or delete the information, as appropriate.
